Tangible Results - Fast Track to Freedom

Let's get EFT into the army

I was able to attend the Anzac Day march in Sydney yesterday for the first time in a few years and enjoyed the opportunity to acknowledge what other people have sacrificed that I might live in the peace and freedom that I do.  It was great to be next to a group of young women who were very vocal in their support and shared their enthusiasm equally, calling out "Hello Ladies" to the Veteran women as well as "Hello Sailor" to you can guess who.  And also to see that great Australian Dick Smith holding up a sign reading a simple "Thanks".  He was acknowledged in return with many waves and salutes.

Subtle messages that sabotage

I often have clients say to me that they don't know where their challenges come from because they had a perfectly good upbringing in a loving family.  And I point out that even in the most loving families we still receive a lot of unhelpful messages in simple and often subtle ways.

The Kindess Revolution

I thought you'd enjoy this message from Jono Fisher of Wake Up Sydney (www.wakeupsydney.com.au) An Experiment...

Seeing the Light

It was wonderful to have a full house on Saturday for the 2nd birthday of the Women's Greatness Group.  Bubbles, balloons, candle blowing, happy birthday singing - yes we had it all!

What lens do you see life through?

I spent the weekend at the enchanting Mirramu Creative Arts Centre overlooking Lake George in the company of dancers, writers, sculptors and photographers.  It was a wonderfully rich and creative time, and so interesting to learn new ways of relating to the world.

What is procrastination costing you?

Procrastination is one of those issues that seem to be universal.  Is there anyone alive who has never procrastinated?!  And it's one of those really frustrating things.  We know what we want to do, should do, ought to do, would be good to do....and yet we don't do it.  We put it off, put it off, and then put it off some more.  Even if we're inwardly screaming about it, thinking about it every day (and night).

In the Groove

I visited "Sculpture by the Sea" at Bondi Beach today and what a variety of sculptures there were - everything from stunningly beautiful, through gloriously quirky, to totally inexplicable or unexpected.  As I marvelled at one,  puzzled at another, and  listened to the conversations they were creating (Neale Donald Walsch says "Every revolution has begun with a conversation")  I also started to contemplate how "in the groove" my thinking is.

Love Mantras

I listened to an interview with best selling author extraordinaire Marci Shimoff (http://www.happyfornoreason.com/Home.asp) and she talked about what she calls the three Love Mantras.

The Battle with the Body

Despite being away for the weekend I managed to catch a few sessions of the Pain Tapping Summit and particularly related to Carol Tuttle's presentation "The Battle without Bodies - finally finding peace". Having worked as a naturopath for many years before working in the energy healing field I am very well aware of how physical symptoms are a reflection of the state of our psyche and also of how we tend to look upon our bodies as the enemy when they don't function as we would wish them to do.

Tapping for Restricted Movement

After surgery for breast cancer one of my clients was left with a considerable loss of movement in her shoulder. Now perhaps because it's called Emotional Freedom Techniques you may not be aware of how EFT can really work on problems in the physical body that seem to be mechanical. However after some concerted tapping over about 10-15 minutes her shoulder had a greatly increased range of movement. Even I was a bit surprised at the additional movement that suddenly appeared.
