Physical Health EFT Tapping for Health

In our stressful, toxic world it can be really hard to maintain a high level of health, yet, as a sufferer of chronic ill health myself, I know just how important health is.

Being fit and healthy helps you to feel strong and resilient, bringing with it energy, confidence, increased creativity, clarity and productivity.

It can be very challenging when your health is falling short of what you want it to be, especially if you are in pain or have a chronic or life-threatening illness. Fortunately, EFT Tapping can help with this in several ways.

Firstly, you can use tapping to directly diminish symptoms such as pain or inflammation.  Although EFT stands for Emotional Freedom Techniques, it is remarkably effective at reducing physical symptoms quite rapidly, sometimes in minutes.

I could hardly believe that after 5 days of suffering severe pain and movement restriction (and having been advised that rest was probably the only option left), it was completely gone so rapidly.”

Tapping for health reduces tension in the body faster than anything else I have found and so is particularly useful for aches and pains and everything that stems from that. It can seem strange that tapping has the effect it has sometimes – I used it for the restriction in a woman’s shoulder after having breast cancer surgery and we increased the range of movement substantially in just a short time.

“For the past 3-4 months I had been plagued by a pain in my wrist, reminiscent of the RSI I had experienced about 15 years previously which resulted in my being off work for 3 months, and I was very concerned about the impact of this pain.  In a single session we identified the non-physical issue that was manifesting as physical pain and tapped on it.  The pain relief was immediate, but a hint of it remained - which reduced over the following week till I had no pain.”

Secondly, you can use it to resolve the deeper emotional issues that have affected the body in such a way that physical disease has resulted.  Trapped or unresolved emotions and the stress response suppress your immune system and cause all manner of physical symptoms – digestive problems, muscle tension, allergies, eating disorders, insomnia, headaches, high blood pressure, weight issues, reproductive disorders, heart problems etc.

“I cannot praise Margaret and EFT Tapping enough.  It has freed more from two years of suffering from continuous high blood pressure, racing heart and the constant physiology of stress.  I am now completely symptom free, drug free and back living the life I used to lead.”

Sometimes the true source of your pain is something that drugs and medical procedures just can’t reach but EFT Tapping can be used effectively alongside any form of medical treatment – it is non-invasive, chemical free and has no side-effects.  Pain and illness is often difficult to manage and a very important aspect of healing is to address those reactions and change the nature of the relationship you are having with your body.

I always respect and work alongside any other treatment my client is having so we can get the best possible result.

Finding peace in yourself creates an environment in which your body can repair and regenerate itself, returning to vibrant health.

A word about serious illness – EFT Tapping can be a huge support in facing up to a serious or life-threatening illness alongside whatever medical or complementary treatments you are using.  EFT healing can be used on an ongoing basis to deal with all the mental, emotion, physical and spiritual challenges which emerge. I’ve even seen it enhance the results of chemotherapy and a stem cell transplant.

It is now recognised that the shock of a diagnosis can contribute to the unfolding of a disease so in the case of serious illness I usually tap away the emotions that occurred at the time of diagnosis which can cause a profound releasing of tension that has been held unknowingly in the body.

I find my background in working with people with cancer as a naturopath very useful in understanding people’s journey.
